Carter Estate Winery and Resort

I really did enjoy the property. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and stunning. To be able to walk out the patio and sit and have breakfast was amazing. I would’ve liked to have food at the pool however that was not an option. Will definitely return to the property. I also enjoyed the Vineyard and wine tasting room. I got a glass of wine and plenty of souvenirs that I felt were reasonable priced.

The hotel has an amazing view. But the hotel is not as nice as other places. I think they need a very big renovation. Also, it’s a little bit weird that the bed is a pull away bed. It isn’t very comfortable and it sounds a lot when you move. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors. But again everything is topped off with the amazing view that it has. It’s super nice to open your balcony and have the Wyart just a few feet away. As for the winery of those place is not the best. They have amazing views, and I think they don’t take advantage of this. The inside of the winery is dark and not cozy. I think they should open more windows and change the tint of the glass for something more clear. The terrace they have it should be facing not the highway.

Really, I would give this hotel a 4.5 but it was an overall really good experience so I’ll give it 5! The property is beautiful. The vineyards are amazing and there are wildflowers and lavender surrounding the property, which makes it smell amazing. The room was nice, although we had a couple issues when we -arrived, however they were corrected shortly. the staff was friendly and the pool area was nice too. I would definitely come back!

Have nothing but good things to say. It was me and my girlfriend’s first time at a winery and the front desk people were so helpful with suggestions on what to do and we forgot toothpaste and needed tampons and they brought them to us. They offer free shuttles to go where you need so you don’t have to worry about Ubers or driving. The food was delicious for room service and at their sister resort. Excited to come back when it’s warmer to check out the pool.

Was very nice stay, staff is very helpful and inviting. Ordered rooms service for breakfast, offer the basics. Was good, bedding and towels for bath are also very nice.. we didn't use the pool on this stay, so cant provide experience on that, but it looks comfortable. Property is well maintained and beautiful to walk.. if you stay on the east side, (sunrise) I suggest getting up early, sit on patio with coffee and wait for the balloons at sunrise. Worth the view. Beautiful! Looking forward to another stay, and we appreciated the ability to stay with our small dog... (note, there are coyotes there at night so keep your doggies close by on leashes) you can hear them but not see them... loved it.. Thank Carter Estates J&A. Los Angeles, Ca.

Absolutely delightful!! We’d like to make a special mention of Tami. Tami was so helpful, kind and fun to talk with and also attentive to us. We are on a mother daughter getaway and have only good things to say about this resort we stayed for two nights. The bed is very comfortable, the food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The pool and hot tub area is so relaxing and calm. Just a A wonderful getaway very peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night, but next time I’ll stay several days. One night was too short, and all the staff here were incredibly kind, so I highly recommend this place. Especially "Tammy" thank you so much for your friendly guidance!
